News and Information28 May 2010 - Congratulations to new CERT Graduates!
They’ve Been CERT-ified
Brier, Washington (June 9, 2010) — On May 27, 11 people graduated from
the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training held at the
Emergency Services Coordinating Agency (ESCA).

The CERT students received 24-hours of classroom instruction over an
eight week period. The
course covered information on fire safety, urban search and rescue,
disaster medical operations, disaster psychology, and terrorism.
The course final provided an opportunity to practice the new
skills and knowledge with a disaster scenario that included an
“earthquake” and multiple “victims.”
