Mitigation Planning - Update

Background

In 2004, the ESCA Cities, plus three regional partners, developed a Mitigation Plan.  All jurisdictions were responsible for only their individual projects, but there was an effort to ensure that the planning occurred as a cohesive region.

Five years later, it's time to update that plan. 

Plan Components

The Plan has multiple sections that comprise the entire plan.  They are:

    Section A:  Preceding Documents

    Section I:  Plan Overview 

    Section II:  Hazard Identification and Vulnerability Assessment (HIVA)

    Section III:  Introduction

                     Jurisdictional Break-Outs  (See Jurisdictions below.)

    Section IV:  Mitigation List: Action Item Index  <Pending.>

The planning region has grown in size, and the Plan now includes a total of fourteen jurisdictions.  They are the ESCA members of:
